PAINTBALL ETIQUETTE

Etiquette is something that shouldn't have to be said.

TAG is not equipped to take away your responsibility from you.

OFF THE FIELD

1) Keep your gun encased (covered) when you enter and leave TAG. (Cops love to confiscate guns!)

2) Remember, not everyone likes your loud car stereo as much as you do. Please keep it down, thanks.

3) Keep area clean. Do not throw, squirt, step on, or make a mess with paintballs. Vocabulary word for the day: TRASH-CAN.

4) Share common areas. Make room for others.

5) Bring enough paint/air to play for as many games as possible before coming in to refuel. Keep games moving.

6) Keep up with the group. Don't ask others to wait while you get it together. They paid to play...not wait for you.

7) POTTY PROTOCOL (for men): 1) Lift Lid, 2) Pee IN The Hole, 3) Put Lid Down, 4) Wash hands. Make me believe you are good at playing paintball...try and hit the BIG FAT STATIONARY TARGET! (LOL!!!) I don't want to hear...that you don't have a high precision instrument or that your targeting computer is offline.Don't make us make you sit down like a little girl! Another vocabulary word: FIRING SQUAD! Our aim is to keep this place clean...your aim, will help!!! In case of a nuclear attack, stand on the toilet...because no one has hit it yet. I hope that we didn't offend any accuracy-challenged males (girls get such a kick out of this rule!) .

ON THE FIELD

8) Take everything you bring on to the fields OFF of the fields (tubes/rags/bags/covers/trash/etc).

9) When you are eliminated, raise your gun and exit the field immediately.

10) When you think you have eliminated someone, ask them to check it themselves. Don't scream for a ref, they know what they are doing; they are watching to see if your opponent has integrity. This is an honor sport.

11) Once you exit the field, do not interfere/distract from the game in progress (ie shooting/talking/etc).

12) If you have a problem, GO TO THE AUTHORITY IN CHARGE. They will handle it.

13) If the authority in charge makes a ruling against you, OBEY IT (without grumbling). This shows maturity (and helps YOU the next time a ruling is called for).
